Mary Cyckowski

Mary Cyckowski is a junior from Chester, VA majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in Chemistry and Green Engineering. Mary spent Summer-2021-Spring 2022 WestRock as a Process Engineering Co-op in the Pulp Mill Department at the Hopewell, VA papermill. She also completed an internship this past summer at Burns & McDonnell, where she worked in the process group for the Oil, Gas, and Chemical Global Practice. At Virginia Tech, she is also a mentor for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, a member of the Chem-E-Car design team, and a member of Omega Chi Epsilon. She is also the logistics lead for the Spring 2023 Mid-Atlantic AIChE Conference. Some activities she enjoys in her free time include playing guitar, punch needle embroidery, and traveling.
